AisleScore publishes the product database behind our public scores so anyone can inspect, reproduce, and improve the work.
The AisleScore Scored Product Database contains the US product records used on our public product pages, normalized source fields, AisleScore score and tier, the line-by-line score receipt, data-completeness indicators, public verification status and date, source timestamps, and the version of the AisleScore Standard used to calculate the score. Scores are deterministic outputs of the published Standard.
The download does not include product photographs, private reviewer notes, category-guide prose, application source code, user accounts, scan history, alert settings, or billing data. Those items are not part of the public product database.

Parquet is the primary format because it preserves types and compresses well. Each release includes a data dictionary, license files, source and release dates, the AisleScore Standard version, and a SHA-256 checksum. Versioned prior releases remain available so score and formulation changes can be audited.
The AisleScore Scored Product Database contains information from Open Food Facts, made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0, and scoring outputs produced by AisleScore. The AisleScore Scored Product Database is made available under ODbL 1.0. Individual Open Food Facts contents are available under the Database Contents License (DbCL) 1.0. AisleScore-created database contents included in this release are also made available under DbCL 1.0, subject to ODbL 1.0. Open Food Facts does not sponsor or endorse AisleScore.
If you publicly use this database or a derivative database, you must follow ODbL's attribution, share-alike, access, notice, and keep-open requirements. Read the full ODbL 1.0 legal text.
We plan to publish a refreshed release monthly after importing the latest Open Food Facts data and rerunning the current AisleScore Standard. The release metadata shows the actual source snapshot date and generation time. We may issue an out-of-cycle correction for a material error. A new Standard version triggers a complete rescore and a new release.
Open Food Facts is crowdsourced, and product formulations change. An automatically scored record has not been checked by AisleScore against a current physical package. “Hand-verified” means we compared the displayed label data with a package or label image on the stated date; it does not mean laboratory testing or a manufacturer guarantee. Always check the current package, especially for allergens or medical and dietary decisions.
Use Report an error on the relevant product page and include the barcode, what appears wrong, your country, and a clear photo of the current ingredient and nutrition labels when possible. For an error affecting the downloadable file or many records, use the dataset issue form. We record accepted corrections and apply them in the next release or an out-of-cycle correction.
Before launch, replace all bracketed download/form labels with live URLs and confirm that the error intake includes consent and terms for submitted photos.
