We scored Great Value, Siete, Boulder Canyon, SkinnyPop and more against The AisleScore Standard. Here's what actually made the cut.
Standard v1.3, data as of 2026-10-20

Three snacks tie at a perfect 100: Siete's Grain Free Tortilla Chips, Boulder Canyon's Avocado Oil Kettle Chips, and RXBAR's Chocolate Sea Salt bar. What the receipts actually say

Siete Grain Free Tortilla Chips are cassava flour and starch, avocado oil, coconut flour, chia seeds and sea salt. Avocado oil isn't a seed oil under the Standard, and nothing else is flagged.

Boulder Canyon's Avocado Oil Kettle Chips list three ingredients: potatoes, avocado oil and sea salt. The fat is avocado oil, not one of the seed oils the Standard flags, so nothing is deducted.

RXBAR's Chocolate Sea Salt bar, as recorded in our source data, is egg whites, almonds, cashews and dates, with nothing for the rubric to catch.

Great Value's Microwave Popcorn loses 5 points for "natural flavors" that aren't identified. Its fat is palm oil, which isn't on the Standard's seed-oil list.

Late July's Thin & Crispy Cantina Style Tortilla Chips are corn, oil and sea salt. The oil is listed as "non-gmo sunflower oil and/or non-gmo safflower oil". Both are seed oils under the Standard, so the chips take −25 and land at 75.

SkinnyPop's Popcorn and PopCorners' Sea Salt both take −25 for sunflower oil, which the Standard counts as a seed oil however it is pressed. It is the only deduction on each label.

Pirate's Booty's Baked Rice And Corn Puffs takes the same seed-oil deduction for "vegetable oil (expeller pressed canola oil and/or sunflower oil and/or corn oil)". When a label lists oils as "and/or", the Standard scores the worst oil in the list.

How we scored these

Every score above comes from The AisleScore Standard v1.3, the same public rubric applied to every product in the directory. The rule that separates the 100s from the 75s here is the seed-oil flag: soybean, canola, corn, cottonseed, sunflower, safflower, grapeseed, rice bran and generic "vegetable oil" each cost 25 points, expeller-pressed or not. The Great Value popcorn's 5-point deduction comes from the natural-flavors rule, which deducts for "natural flavor(s)" that aren't identified.

Scores on this page are auto-scored from Open Food Facts data against The AisleScore Standard v1.3 and have not been hand-verified by AisleScore unless a product says "Hand-verified on [date]". Check the current package.

AisleScore doesn't track which stores carry each product, so check what your Walmart has on the shelf. Any of these scores can change when a brand reformulates.
